An Alternative Burns Supper was evening to remember. With a fantastic Ceilidh band, mouth-watering food, very funny speeches followed by auctions and raffle, it was a very successful event. Kirsty welcomed all the guests personally and made sure that every single aspect of the Supper was perfectly organized. Tickets sold out very quickly, so don't wait around for long if you want to attend an Along Came Kirsty event- it is a promise of a fantastic night with lots and lots of happy memories to treasure.
Slywia Soltys - PAMIS
Thanks to Along Came Kirsty, PAMIS held our first major fundraising event in February 2012 - An Alternative Burns Supper. The event was thoroughly enjoyed by everyone who attended. It was also great to have support on the night from local MSP Jenny Marra and reporter Neil Mudie who made a wonderful contribution to the evening.
Kate Mure - PAMIS
Kirsty quickly established good working relations with the local media, press and radio in the areas where PAMIS operates. The outcome of this being our press coverage has greatly increased. She has also raised our profile through social media networks, and set up Facebook and Twitter accounts and regularly posts updates on our activities and the needs of the people we support. PAMIS supports people with profound and multiple learning disabilities and their families. This is often a forgotten group of disabled people who cannot speak up for themselves. Kirsty has a great empathy with people with complex disabilities and is a great ambassador for promoting their needs and aspirations, ensuring they have a real community presence. This she has achieved by awareness raising and lobbying to make our communities more accessible and responsive to the needs of these often marginalised citizens. Through creating this awareness and improved access the people she represents can and do contribute to activities and events in their localities.

I was first introduced to Kirsty when i was looking for an enthusiastic and enterprising person to help my organisation with a fundraising challenge. Since then, a year ago, Kirsty has been a tireless volunteer for 'Just Made' organising events, press, online communications and even putting together a whole team of volunteers to assist us. I've even witnessed her calmly and professionally running our fundraising event the day after a bad car accident. I knew she was in a lot of pain but the volunteers and visitors had no idea because she was so professional and put others before herself. She's helped us to reach the front page of newspapers and is currently helping us build our capacity. She goes above and beyond every time she helps us and is a true inspiration!

Along Came Kirsty kick started the fundraising for Fans of Cystic Fibrosis Trust in January 2013. Since then they have organised seven events raising £2946.09. They did everything from planning, social media, publicity, awareness raising, on the day management as well as promoting the events to their own business network as well as their friends and family to support these events.
If you ever need a referee/prospective client to speak to me please give them my name and number I will provide a glowing reference of course!
